Directions
From Sohrab Goth
- Head south on Rashid Minhas Road: Start by going south on Rashid Minhas Road, keeping the Sohrab Goth Flyover on your left.
- Make a U-turn: After about 800 meters, you’ll see Al-Azim Ltd. Make a U-turn there.
- Take the ramp onto Shahrah-e-Pakistan: Continue for about 1 km and take the ramp to get onto Shahrah-e-Pakistan.
- Merge onto Karachi-Hyderabad Motorway (M-9): Shahrah-e-Pakistan will merge with the Karachi-Hyderabad Motorway (M-9). This is a toll road.
- Continue on M-9: Stay on the M-9 for about 40 minutes (approximately 42.6 km). You’ll first past by Bahria Town Karachi, then continue for approximately 4 kilometers and drive past Kathore Interchange, then continue for approximately 9 kilometers and you’ll see DHA City interchange.
- Drive Past the DHA City Interchange: After you pass the DHA City Interchange, stay on the main road for about a kilometer and a half. Look for an exit sign on your right. Take that exit. Once you’re off the exit, it’s a short drive, around 550 meters, straight to the DHA City Karachi main gate/entrance.
From Shahra-e-Faisal (PAF Museum)
- Head west on Shahra-e-Faisal: Start by going west on Shahra-e-Faisal. You’ll be heading away from the city center.
- Take Star Gate Road: Continue on Shahra-e-Faisal for a significant distance (about 8 km). You’ll then turn left onto Star Gate Road (there might be a monument at this turn).
- Take Airport Road: After a short distance on Star Gate Road, turn right, then left onto Airport Road.
- Continue on Airport Road and Jinnah Avenue: Stay on Airport Road for about 2.2 km. Then, turn left onto Jinnah Avenue.
- Take Malir Link to Super Highway: Continue on Jinnah Avenue and then onto Malir Link to Super Highway.
- Merge onto Karachi-Hyderabad Motorway (M-9): Malir Link will merge with the Karachi-Hyderabad Motorway (M-9). This is a toll road.
- Continue on M-9: Stay on the M-9 for about 30 minutes (approximately 34.1 km).
- Take the exit for DHA City: You’ll first reach Kathore Interchange of Malir Expressway, and then after driving further for 9 kilometers, you’ll reach DHA City Interchange.
- DHA City Karachi Main Entrance: Drive past the DHA City Interchange. Keep going straight for about one and a half kilometers. You’ll see an exit on your right. Take that exit. Continue straight for roughly 550 meters, and you’ll reach the main gate of DHA City.
From M-10 Motorway (Northern Bypass)
- Head northeast on Karachi Northern Bypass: Start by heading northeast on the Karachi Northern Bypass. This is a toll road.
- Merge onto Karachi-Hyderabad Motorway (M-9): After about 25 km, you’ll merge onto the Karachi-Hyderabad Motorway (M-9).
- Continue on M-9: Stay on the M-9 for about 26 minutes (approximately 30.9 km).
- Take the exit for DHA City: You’ll reach an interchange, called DHA City Interchange, which is an exit for DHA City from M-9 motorway.
- DHA City Karachi (DCK) Main Gate: Just keep driving straight for about 1.5 kilometers. Then, you’ll see an exit on your right – take that one. After you take the exit, it’s just a little further, maybe 550 meters, and you’ll be at the main entrance of DHA City..
From Malir Expressway (Starting from Ayesha Masjid, DHA Phase 7)
- Head southwest on Khayaban-e-Ittehad Road: Start from Ayesha Masjid, DHA Phase 7, Khayaban-e-Ittehad Road, and continue southwest on Khayaban-e-Ittehad Road.
- Make a U-turn: After a short distance, make a U-turn.
- Turn right onto Creek Road: Continue and turn right onto Creek Road.
- Merge onto Hussain Dadabhoy Road: Creek Road will merge onto Hussain Dadabhoy Road.
- Take the 5th exit at KPT Interchange onto Main Korangi Road: At the KPT Interchange, take the 5th exit to get onto Main Korangi Road.
- Take the ramp and turn right: Shortly after, take the ramp on your left and then turn right.
- Merge onto Malir Expressway: Merge onto the Malir Expressway (also known as Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Expressway).
- Exit onto Korangi Shah Faisal Road: Continue on the Malir Expressway and exit onto Korangi Shah Faisal Road.
- Continue onto Chorangi Road: Korangi Shah Faisal Road will eventually become Chorangi Road.
- Stay on Chorangi Road: At 2 Number Chowrangi, take the 4th exit to stay on Chorangi Road.
- Turn right onto Superior College Road: Turn right onto Superior College Road.
- Merge onto Shahra-e-Faisal (N-5): Take the ramp and merge onto Shahra-e-Faisal (also known as National Highway 5).
- Turn left onto Darakhshan Service Road: After a while, turn left onto Darakhshan Service Road.
- Turn left onto Bakra Peri Road: Continue on Darakhshan Service Road, and then turn left onto Bakra Peri Road.
- Continue onto Memon Goth Road: Bakra Peri Road will become Memon Goth Road.
- Turn right onto Malir – Shah Latif Town Road: Turn right onto Malir – Shah Latif Town Road.
- Turn right onto National Highway – Super Highway Link Road: Turn right onto the link road.
- Turn left onto Super Highway Link Road: Turn left to stay on Super Highway Link Road.
- Slight right: Continue and slight right.
- Turn left: Make a left turn.
- Turn left onto Eastern Bypass: Finally, turn left onto Eastern Bypass.
- Merge onto Karachi-Hyderabad Motorway (M-9): Eastern Bypass will merge with the Karachi-Hyderabad Motorway (M-9). This is a toll road.
- Continue on M-9: Stay on the M-9 until you reach the DHA City Interchange. Continue driving straight for about 1.5 kilometers (almost a mile) to take an exit on your right. Then drive for another 550 meters approximately to reach the main gate/entrance of DHAC.
